bio/artist statement

My story is that I grew up in southern California wanting to be a scientist. As with many artists, my family was extremely supportive of my artistic endeavors--but I was bent on being practical. Though I loved art, its pursuit seemed frivolous. This is not to say I did not like science--I loved science--the wonder... the answer to so many unexplained questions... the hope of solving so many of the worlds problems lay... and still lay in the hands of those immersed in scientific pursuits. But art... art holds questions to so many unexplained answers.

I love dabbling with design within the constraints of the web. It is a satisfying mix of art and science.
